Also known as Content Editing. This handles big-picture content. I will focus on plot holes, inconsistencies, character voice, flow, and story beats, letting you know in comments if anything feels off or if the story could be reconstructed.

I go sentence by sentence, making sure everything makes sense, is concise, and clear while maintaining the character's voice(s). This is also where I will focus on tense and POV. If you struggle with swapping either of these around, this is where I will fix that.

I will focus on spelling, punctuation, grammar, and making sure everything is following The Chicago Manual of Style (the publishing standard style guide).

$0.01/word (example: $200 for 20,000 words)

This will combine the levels listed above, developmental, line, and copy editing, which would be the standard editing process. Depending on the complexity of your levels, I can do these as three separate rounds, or all together.

Acts similar to a copy edit, where I focus on erroprs in spelling and punctuation, but is a secondary pass to make sure everything is clean.
